Elmer Burruss Wolfrey, Jr.

            Mr. Elmer Burruss Wolfrey, Jr., age 74, of Commerce died Friday, April 15, 2016 at his residence.  Mr. Wolfrey was born in Gordonsville, VA to the late, Elmer Burruss and Susie Seay Wolfrey, Sr.  Mr. Wolfrey worked for Bailey’s Towing and was a US Air Force veteran.

            Mr. Wolfrey is survived by his wife, Scarlett Bunch Wolfrey of Commerce; daughter, Linda Segars (Troy) of Homer; step-children, Nick Pierce and Jason Pierce both of Commerce, and Bryan Pierce of Gainesville; brother, Roger Wolfrey (Laura) of Gordonsville, VA; sisters, Margie Hunt of Carnesville, Betty Hunt of Louisa, VA, and Carolyn Heath (Bennie) of Orange, VA; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

            The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2-5 PM.

            Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
