Darrin Dwayne Stroud

Mr. Darrin Dwayne Stroud age 34 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday April 13, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday April 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Murrayville Congregation Holiness Church with interment to follow in Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. Reverend Mike Gaines, Reverend Bill Brown, and Daughter Kelsey Stroud will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday April 15, 2016 and Saturday April 16, 2016 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. both days at the funeral home.

            Mr. Stroud was born on June 17, 1981 in Blairsville, Georgia to Dwayne Stroud and Sherry Lovell Smith. He was a Self Employed Truck Driver and was a member of Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Lovell and Reverend Bobby Ray Stroud, uncle, Scottie Smith, aunt, Connie Faye Smith and aunt, Gwen Hughes.

            Mr. Stroud is survived by his mother and step-father, Sherry and Ronnie Smith of Gainesville, father and step-mother, Dwayne and Tami Stroud of Blairsville, daughter, Kelsey Stroud of Gainesville, son, Dylan Stroud of Gainesville, mother of Children, Carly Stroud of Gainesville, maternal grandmother, Geneva “NaNa” Lovell of Gainesville, paternal grandmother, Genevieve Stroud of Blairsville, aunt, Wanda Davis, to whom Darrin looked to as his second mother, special friend, Anthony Drum of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Amelia and Mike Peels of Maryland, sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and Chad Patterson of Blairsville, brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Jessica Smith of Gainesville, numerous Aunts, Uncle, Cousins, and other relatives and friends.
