Steve Alan Martin

Mr. Steve Alan Martin, 62 of Gainesville died Wednesday April 13, 2016 at his residence

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Steve had lived in Hall County for most of his life.  He was the son of  the late James and Betty Edmondson Martin.  He attended Gainesville High School and enjoyed building things out of wood.  A home school dad, he was a great math teacher, loving son, Dad, Brother and Uncle. 

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Michael Toth, Winder; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rebecca and Roger Moon, Morganton, NC; Elaine Martin, Gainesville; Nancy and Glenn Robertson, Flowery Branch; niece Allison (Jamie) Buff, Peachtree City; nephews, Jeff (Ashley) Moon, Morganton, NC; Joshua Robertson and Caleb Robertson, both of Flowery Branch, Amanda's mother, Anne of Oakwood.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 16, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
