Nina J. Friend

   Mrs. Nina J. Friend, age 64, of Winder, Georgia passed away April 12, 2016.  A native of Cedartown, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Eva Nell Holland Bischoff.  Mrs. Friend helped to organize The Winder Fire Department Disaster Assistance Team and had served as a cashier at Quality Foods of Winder.  She was of The Baptist Denomination.

   Surviving are Husband, Harvey Friend of Winder, Georgia, Children, Billy J. Friend and Bobby Friend both of Winder, Georgia, Lisa Carinus of Bluffton, South Carolina, Tammy Hansen of Gainesville, Georgia and Michael S. Friend of Winder, Georgia, Fourteen Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren and Sister, Jean Bischoff Rice of Loganville, Georgia.

   A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 3:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home.  The Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 P. M.  at the funeral home.  There will be a gathering at The House of Refuge Church, 118 Sarah Street, Winder, Georgia following the funeral service.
