Charles Oneal Banks

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charles Oneal Banks, age 65, of Hoschton Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Mr. Banks was born in Greenwood, South Carolina, a son to Mrs. Helen Whitten Banks of McCormick, South Carolina and the late Mr. Ernest Banks. Mr. Banks was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam and was a carpenter. Mr. Banks was a member and an usher of the 12 Stone Church. In addition to his father, Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Banks.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara DiRocco Banks of Hoschton; daughters, Jessica Adams and her husband Chris of Braselton, Shannon McDonald and her husband Joe of Jasper, GA; and daughter Lyndsey Adams of Hoschton, brother, Ricky Banks of McCormick, SC and Grandchildren also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Queen officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 4 -6 PM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
