Jane Forrester Duck

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Jane Forrester Duck, age 91, of Hoschton, who passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Mrs. Duck was born in Hoschton, GA, a daughter to the late Zack and Flora Bell Forrester. Mrs. Duck was member of the Hoschton Methodist Church and had been employed at the Jackson Electric Membership Corporation, The Peoples Bank and the Bank of Barrow. Mrs. Duck loved to play bingo and travel, was an accomplished artist, and held a deep love for her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duck was preceded in death by her husband, Lagree Duck.

Survivors include her daughters and son in laws, Sandra and Jerry Eidson of Hoschton, Carol and Gary Cash of Mitchell; grandchildren, Jennifer Pierce of Ellijay, Kathy Hoover of Athens, AL and Kelly Downs of Winder; 7 great grandchildren, Heather, Graham, Cameron, Bo, Whitney, Cole and Chloe and her sister, Joanne Smith of Tucker.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Mason and Rev. Gene Head officiating. The burial will follow in the Barrow Memorial Gardens with Glen Duck, Mike Duck, Terry Duck, Ashley Downs, Jeff Hoover and Graham Hoover honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 12noon until 2:00pm, at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
