Deborah “Debbie” Dianne Reeves, age 62, of Cleveland passed away Friday April 1, 2016. Debbie was born in Anchorage, Alaska on June 5, 1953 to Madine Carroll Pickett and the late Raymond P. Mixon. She moved to Cleveland in 1992 from Thomaston, GA. Debbie was the former owner of Mountain Magic Arts and Crafts and Alpine Festival Arts and Crafts and was a member of Helen First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her father as well as brothers Michael Mixon, James “Len” Barfield, sister Donna Mixon and step-father Guy Pickett. Debbie is survived by her mother as well as her husband, Randall Reeves, Cleveland; son, Guy “Steve” Pickett, Bonaire, GA; daughters, Tiffany Holtzclaw, Cleveland, and Stephanie Strong, Marietta; sisters, Tammy Pickett, Warner Robins, GA., and Renee Barfield Black, Eatonton, GA.; grandchildren, Leah Holtzclaw, Kenady Pickett, and Haley Pickett.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 4 until 5 PM. Memorial services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 5 PM with the Revs. Jim Gant, Keith Ivey, Chaplain Bob Fiedler officiating.
