Helen W. Stephens

Mrs. Helen W. Stephens, age 85, of Nicholson, GA died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Bountiful Hills Personal Care Home.  Mrs. Stephens was born in Tignall to the late Ernest and Cora Wheeles Walker.  She was a member of Maysville Baptist Church.  She attended Berry College and retired from Sears at Ponce DeLeon.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stephens was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Berry Stephens.

Mrs. Stephens is survived by her daughter, Joi Treadwell of Jefferson; sons, Lee Stephens of Mt. Airy, Bill Stephens of Lilburn and Jim Stephens of Nicholson; sisters, Betty Bustard of Greenville, SC and Jackie Billue of Cornelia; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, April 2 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Wynn officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM.
