Robert Brantley Pitts, Sr

Mr. Robert Brantley Pitts, Sr., age 72 of 3994 W. Currahee Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A son of the late Jess Joe and Ellene Carter Pitts, he was born August 19, 1943 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was employed with Cobb’s Roofing Company for a number of years and attended Welcome Faith Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Mark Pitts.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammie Pitts and Sonya Pitts, both of Toccoa; son, Bobby Pitts of Toccoa; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Smith of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 1, 2016, 11 O’clock AM in the Hilllcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Ray Bohannon officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 AM, Chris Pitts, Jamie Pitts, Michael Pitts and Josh Gosnell.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Robert Brantley Pitts, Sr.
