Ruby M. Massey

Mrs. Ruby M. Massey, age 77, of Jefferson, GA died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Northridge Medical Center.  Mrs. Massey was born in Commerce to the late Hoke and Ludie Clark Hill.  She was a retired poultry farmer.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her husband, Claudie Massey.

Mrs. Massey is survived by her sons, Phillip Massey of Jefferson, John Massey of Commerce and Gene Massey of Jefferson; sisters, Peggy Peppers of Athens, Mary Wilkins of Winterville, Thelma Griffin of Lula and Ruth Faulkner of Loganville; brothers, Joe Hill of Winterville, Hershel Hill and Jimmy Hill both of Commerce; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, March 29 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Carroll Griffin and Ms. Judy Clay officiating.  Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6 to 8 PM.
