Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Linda Peppers Bishop, age 68 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, March 26, 2016. Ms. Bishop was born in Jefferson, Georgia, a daughter of the late Billy Sunday Peppers and the late Louise Smith Peppers, was a graduate of Athens Tech and was a caregiver for the elderly. In addition to her parents Ms. Bishop is preceded by a sister, Billie Peppers Hollis.
Survivors include two daughters; Patricia Richardson and her husband Steve of Nicholson, Teresa Thomas of Hoschton. Grandson; Luke Fields of Nicholson. Two sisters; Brenda Craig and Glenda Bell of Jefferson. Three brothers; Nicky Peppers of Jefferson, Phil Peppers of Hoschton, and Dan Peppers of Jefferson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Charlie Howington officiating with burial to follow in Woodbine Cemetery. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Tim Sweat, Bill Mitchell, Gurnie Bell, Lamar Roberts, John Goldman, and Brent Streetman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 28, 2016, 6 – 8 P.M.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30346.
