Aline G. Evans

Mrs. Evans was born on July 26, 1939 in Toccoa, Georgia to the late T.C. and Lizzie Griffin Gibbs. She was of the Messianic Jewish Faith. Mrs. Evans was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Freeman Gibbs; sisters, Dorothy Lord, and Joann Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, Danny L. Evans, of Lula; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Ronnie Bruce, of Gainesville; Charlotte and Mike Standridge, of Lula; son and daughters-in-law, David and Pam Evans, of Gainesville; Buddy and Jennifer Harris, of Chatsworth; sister, Judy Allen, of Cleveland; brothers, Ted Gibbs, of Oakwood; Speedy Gibbs, of Toccoa; Freddy Gibbs, of Oakwood; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Tina and Matt Munson officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the funeral home.
