Harry Brynley Preston, age 68, of Cumming, GA., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming, GA.
Born August 16, 1947, in Baltimore, MD., he was the son of Audrey (Lott) Preston of Baltimore, MD., and the late Harry D. Preston. He was the husband of Lucille (Lintz) Preston, whom he married on June 18, 1983 in Baltimore, MD.
He was a member of the Trinity Worship Center, in Cumming, GA., where he served as an Elder, Church Clerk, Treasurer, Senior Adult Class Teacher and Co-Teacher for Wednesday Night Bible Study. Harry loved the Lord and was a faithful witness for Christ.
He graduated from Dundalk High School in Baltimore, MD.; Towson State University earning a B.A. Degree in Psychology, University of Baltimore earning his Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology. He was employed by Employers Mutual of Wausaw and Marchman – Steele Agency for a total of 44 years until his retirement.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by one son, Jonathan Garcia and wife, Kelli of Colorado Springs, CO., one daughter, Maria Garcia of New York City, NY., two, grandchildren, Jonathan and Giada Garcia, two brothers, Robert Preston and wife Mary Jane of Chesterfield, IN., and Donald Preston and wife Diana of Hancock, MD. , and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Worship Center, 315 Kelly Mill Road, Cumming, GA. Pastor Ken Griffis will preside. Burial will follow in the Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, in Cumming, GA.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Trinity Worship Center.
