Annette “Peach” Hochstetler died at Emory Johns Creek Hospital on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia on her 83rd birthday following complications after a recent surgery.
Peach got the best birthday present that she could have received on Sunday - she’s no longer in pain and got to celebrate her birthday with her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been blessed to spend time with her on this earth and we are so glad she is free from her suffering. We are sad and will miss her greatly, but we do not mourn without hope.
She was born March 20th, 1933 in Ashland, Ohio and married her high school sweetheart, Paul in 1952. They were married 64 years and have lived in Ashland, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Tennessee and Sugar Hill, Georgia.
Peach was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mildred Olds of Ashland, her sisters Sonya Rader of Ashland, and Dawn “Dee Dee” Capogreca (Bob) of Melbourne, Florida, her daughter Robin Lee Hochstetler of Columbus, Ohio, and grandson Kristopher Anderson of Cumming, Georgia.
Surviving is her husband, Paul; her brother Edwin “Butch” Olds (Kay) of Carolina Shores, North Carolina; Holly Anderson (Ken) of Cumming; Heather Woosley (Dan) of Hoover, Alabama; and Greg Hochstetler (Cathy) of Cumming; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 26th from 11:00am to 1:30pm followed by a celebration of Peach’s life at 2:00pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church. The church is located at 1125 Bettis Tribble Gap Road in Cumming, Georgia; Pastor Erik Allen officiating.
