Richard Lamar Collins

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Richard Lamar Collins, age 59 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, March 19, 2016.  Mr. Collins was born in Athens, Georgia, was a member of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia and was the owner of Debrich Management Inc., a machine and fabrication company.  Mr. Collins served his country in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Debra D. Collins, two sons; Justin and Eric Walls, a daughter, Anna Katie Walls.  Two grandchildren; Cadence Breana and Tensley.  Three sisters; Becky Eubanks, Wanda McMullen and Rhonda Chambers.  One brother, Junior Collins.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Hanley officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Eric Walls, Justin Walls, Junior Collins, Joe Faris, Mark Knowlton, Mike Goodwin and Mike Womack with Sammy Lee serving as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6 – 8 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
