Dorris Dale Murell

               Dorris Dale Murell, age 86 of Gainesville, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Meadow Ridge Personal Care.

               Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Bradley Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

               Mrs. Murell was born December 19, 1929 in Gainesville, Georgia to Claude W. Dale and Minnie Lou Smith Dale. She was retired from Sears and was a member of Air Line Baptist Church. Mrs. Murell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cliff Murell and her brother, Jimmy Dale.

               Mrs. Murell is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Gail Whitmire of Gainesville; grandson and wife, Bryan and Kelley Whitmire of Gainesville; sister, Susie Dale of Gainesville; brothers, Robert Dale of Oakwood and Bill Dale of Clermont.
