Young Peck

Mr. Young Peck, 92 of Gainesville died Monday March 14, 2016 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Peck was the son of the late Fred and Verdell Whelchel Peck.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator and had also sold produce for a number of years in Hall County. 

Survivors include his son, Ricky Peck, Gainesville.  A number of other relatives also survive.

Mr. Peck is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margie Clark Peck, sisters, Betty Peck Clark, Foy Peck Martin, Nell Peck Bradley; brothers, Lawton Peck and Jack Peck.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday March 17, 2016 at the Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church. Rev. Michael Clark and Rev. Ronnie Pendley will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.  The body will lie in state at the church Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday March 16, 2016 from 4-8 p.m.
