Mr. Paul E. Manley of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016.
Mr. Manley was born May 31, 1928 in Danielsville, Georgia; he was the son of the late Jefferson and Grace Manley and was one of eleven children. Mr. Manley was a member of the Yahoola Baptist Church. Mr. Manley wore many hats throughout his life providing for his family, while taking pride in whatever endeavor was placed before him, he especially took great pride during his time as an electrician. He was known for his warm personality and being square dealing. As a man, there could not be a finer example for a person to emulate. Mr. Manley’s high school senior quote sums him up quite well, “Not too bashful, not too bold.”
Mr. Manley is preceded in death by: his two sons, Phillip and James (Mike) Manley; his loving wife Berta Mae Manley.
Mr. Manley is survived by: two grandsons, Kristopher and Jeffrey Manley; two great-grandchildren, Isabell and Myles Manley.
Funeral services for Mr. Manley are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Yahoola Baptist Church in Dahlonega, GA.
Rev. Chris Butler and Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
