Patrick Lynn Peeples

Patrick Lynn “Pat” Peeples, 65, of Clayton, Georgia died March 11, 2016 at home surrounded by family.

He was born August 15, 1950 in Key West, Florida and was the son of Lillie Mae Peeples and the late William “Bill” Peeples.  He is survived by a daughter, Kristi Shead and two sons, Brendan Peeples and Christopher Peeples.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Brooke Shead and Mason Shead of Clayton, Georgia.  Pat grew up in Clayton, Georgia, attended Rabun County High School, and studied for a year at the University of Georgia prior to serving in the Army in 1970.  Pat was a gregarious person who got along well with people.  He worked in an array of professions using those natural abilities with people, but for the last 15 years worked as a sales specialist for Northeast Georgia Heating and Air.  He will be greatly missed by his co-workers, associates and customers, all of whom he considered his friends.  Pat had an extraordinary passion for reading.  He also had a great love of golf which he shared with his closest friends.

The family will receive friends at 5pm Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Beck Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow visitation at 6pm in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Krivsky officiating.
