Matthew Seth Woodall

Matthew Seth Woodall, 34, of Tiger, GA, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016.

He was born in Toccoa, GA and was the son of Thomas Monroe Woodall and Katie Carver Woodall.  He was preceded in death by his father and in addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée, Lara Gibson; one sister, Claudette Giles and brother-in-law Rance Gillespie; one brother, John Paul Woodall; one nephew, Geoffrey Ledford; two nieces, Kennedy Gillespie and Taylor Woodall; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Matt was a landscaper for Rustic Countrysides.  He loved spending time with his family, and especially with his fiancée.  Matt was an awesome uncle. He enjoyed fishing and anything to do with the outdoors.  He attended, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Highlands, NC. The family wants everyone to bring their favorite baseball cap with them to the service. In honor of Matt they want everyone to wear their caps as they leave.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home from 6-8 PM, Friday, March 11, 2016.  Services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Highlands, NC with Pastor Mark Ford, Pastor Jeremy Dooley, and Rev. Michael Rogers officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Highlands Kids Ministry, P.O. Box 625, Highlands, NC 28741 in memory of Matt.
