Fannie Lea Emmett, age 58 of Maysville, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Nathan Hewell officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, 2016 and Friday, March 11, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm both nights.
Mrs. Emmett was born April 27, 1957 in Gainesville, Georgia to Robert Sullens and Bessie Rider Sullens. She worked for Johnson & Johnson and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Congregational Holiness Church. Mrs. Emmett was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Martha Harris.
Mrs. Emmett is survived by her husband, Lamar Emmett of Maysville; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Rusty Gravitt of Pendergrass; grandsons, Daustin & Avery Gravitt; mother, Bessie Sullens of Pendergrass; sister, Becky Sullens of Pendergrass; step daughter, Tracy McAllister of Lula; step son, Jesse Emmett of Oakwood and a number of nieces and nephews.
