Hugh Lee Parks

Mr. Hugh Lee Parks, age 69, of Clermont, GA passed away Monday, March 7, 2016. 

He was a lifelong resident of Hall County and served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Order of Flowery Branch, and of the Baptist faith.

Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Parks; brother, Danny Parks; son, David Ferguson; and grandson, Tyler Johnson.

He is survived by his father, Barnie A. Parks, Sr.; sons, William A. Parks, Ray Ferguson, and Greg Ferguson; daughters, Joanie Day and Tina Johnson; spouse, Wanda A. Parks; brother, Barney A. Parks, Jr. (Red); and sister, Malinda Clark. 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Lee are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Rev. Levi Skipper will officiate.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens with military honors provided.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8 and 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
