Myra Jane Stephens

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Myra Jane Stephens, age 64, of Commerce Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Mrs. Stephens was born in Commerce, Georgia, a daughter to the late Elmer and Laura Grace Crook Breazeale. Mrs. Stephens was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church in Commerce and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stephens was preceded in death by her son, Arch Clayton Mitchell III, sister, Sara Frances Pruitt, brother, Charles Norman Breazeale, and grandson, Timothy Douglas Wood-Moore.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Tolbert of Commerce, daughters, Laura Stacey Moore, Danielsville, Christy Mitchell Skipper, Center; step-daughters, Ashley Schwind, Anderson, SC, Lindsey Hulsey, Toccoa, Jennifer Wooten Kittle, Athens; sister, Sandra Colvard of Jefferson; nieces, Deborah Montgomery, Winder, Tammy Hester, Commerce; grandchildren, Donald James Moore Jr., Randall Lee Moore, Breanna Kelsey Skipper, Jenna Lynn Flanagan, Copeland Schwind and great grandchild, Alice Grace Moore

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:30pm in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Watson officiating. A visitation will follow the service.
