Ardella Seay England

           Mrs. Ardella Seay England, age 90 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Dave Channell will officiate.   The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. England was born June 30, 1925 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Henry J. Seay and Annie Morris Seay.  She started her working career at the Diana Shop, then worked 40 years at Kenwin Shop and later retired from Burton’s Department Store. Ardella was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward “Ed” England.

            Mrs. England is survived by her only daughter, Michelle Thrasher of Gainesville, her grandson, Steven Thrasher of Gainesville and great-grandson of Tifton, Georgia and extended family.
