Octavia Nicole Strickland

Mrs. Octavia Nicole Strickland, age 20, of Doraville passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Piedmont Hospital following an extended illness, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., March 9, 2016 at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church with interment in the Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  Rev. John Batusic will officiate.  The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Church.

Mrs. Strickland was born September 29, 1995 to Eddie Shelton and Diane Strickland in Gainesville, Georgia.  She was a member of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Octavia is survived by her husband, Salvador Rios Padilla of Doraville; father, Eddie Shelton; mother, Diane Strickland; brothers, Donell Strickland and Jawon Strickland; and sister, Monique Strickland all of Gainesville.
