Shirley Marie Jones

Sheila Gwen Williams Jones, age 53 of Cornelia, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 12, 2016. 
Born in Demorest, Georgia on November 11, 1962, she was a daughter of Billy J. Williams (Brenda) of Cornelia and Margie Gerrin Hart of Baldwin. Mrs. Jones was of the Congregational Holiness faith.  She enjoyed animals, especially her dog, Tiffy, working with flowers and she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer and Mildred Williams, Dora Mae Beck, James W. Gerrin and Arthur Shirley. 
In addition to her parents, survivors include sisters, Leta Chantay “Chan” Williams and Jodi Gerrell both of Cornelia; brothers and sister-in-law, Cory and Leah Williams of Homer and Joey Williams of Cornelia; grandmother, Necie Shirley of Alto; 17 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 12 noon Monday, March 14, 2016, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Chapel with Rev. Terry Benfield and Rev. Tim Beasley officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. 
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
