Myrtle Tipton Everett

Myrtle Tipton Everett passed away March 3, 2016. She was born on August 21, 1924 in White County, Ga. but grew up in Chicopee Village. Mrs. Everett was the daughter of Carl and Josie Tipton.

Early in life, Mrs. Everett worked for Western Union, later becoming a poultry and cattle farmer. She was an avid reader, joke teller and fan of the Atlanta Braves.  She was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Everett is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Everett; sisters and brothers and Melanie Everett.

She is survived by her son, Bob Everett, daughter in law, Irina Everett; grandchildren, Josie Everett and Alexander Everett; great grandchildren, Isaiah Everett and Hunter Coates and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to her caregivers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Reverend Jason Buffington and Reverend Robert Nix will officiate. Interment will follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
