Mamie Lynn DeLong

       Mrs. Mamie Lynn DeLong, age 55 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Chestatee Hospital, Dahlonega, following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Mayfield Baptist Church with interment to follow in Mayfield Baptist Church Cemetery.   Pastor Troy A. Milford and Reverend Douglas DeLong will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. DeLong was born November 15, 1960 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Hubert Flanagan and Mamie Dell Hulsey Flanagan.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. 

            Mrs. DeLong is survived by her husband, Dennis DeLong of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Abby DeLong of Cumming, daughter & her fiancé, Beverly DeLong & Shannon Smith of Clermont, step-son & daughter-in-law, Charles & Debbie DeLong of Dahlonega, grandchildren, McKenzie Lynn Halsey of Gainesville and Gracie Renae Smith of Clermont, brother & sister-in-law, Lamar & Wanda Mangrum of Gainesville, sisters & brothers-in-law, Louise & Billy Hicks of Lula, Sheila & Mickey Harkins of Dahlonega, Barbara & Clyde Witt of Dahlonega and Janice & Bob Leitgeb of Gainesville.
