Frank Wilson, 90, of Clayton, Georgia passed away February 27, 2016.
Frank was born in Highlands, North Carolina the son of the late Andy Mayberry Wilson and Effie Carpenter Wilson. As a young man Frank served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He married and spent his entire life with his wife Margaret Moore Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a lineman in the telephone industry and worked for Contel until he retired. He was a member of Clayton First Baptist Church. What was most important to Frank was his family and spending time with them. He never met a stranger and enjoyed all the people in the community.
In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by one brother Tom Wilson, four sisters Edna Wilson, Zoa Darnell, Stella Talley, and Blanch Vinson.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, two daughters Gloria Roper, Rebecca Wilson; one son Frank Moore Wilson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Beck Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
