Melissa Byrnes Sosebee

Melissa Byrnes Sosebee, 64, of Lula passed away Friday, February 2, 2016 at her residence.

Born in Athens, GA. Mrs. Sosebee had lived most of her life in Hall County. Born on September 13, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Eloise Byrd Byrnes. Mrs. Sosebee was a homemaker and a member First Baptist Church on Green Street.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Sosebee and brother, Thomas Joseph Byrnes, Jr.

Mrs. Sosebee is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joel Sosebee of Lula; 2 grandchildren, Hannah Sosebee and Rebecca Sosebee both of Oakwood.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Chaplain Maitland LaForce will officiate. A private burial will be held in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from Noon until the service hour.
