Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Phyllis Patricia Alexander, age 75 of Lula. Patricia passed away Friday, February 26, 2016. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Skitts Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Savage and Rev. Milton Harris officiating, interment will follow in the church cemetery. Patricia was born in Hall County on March 11, 140 to the late N.C. Oliver and Kannie Savage Oliver. She was a poultry farmer and homemaker. She loved her flowers and working outdoors but her real passion was spoiling her grandchildren. Patricia was a longtime member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, LaQuita Hulsey as well as her brother N.C. Oliver Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Lorrie Bryson ( Tranis) Bryson of Clermont, Pam Grier ( Johnny) of Lula; sisters, Barbara Forrester, Flowery Branch, Shirley Irvin, Gainesville, Ethel Autry,Arkansas, Janis Sumlin ( Phil), Gainesville; brother, Boone Oliver (Deb), Lula; sister in law, Amelia Oliver, Duluth; grandchildren, Neil and Lori Grier, Jamie and Stacey Moose, Phillip and Tonya Grier, Leslie and Justin Palmer, Lauren and Peanut Smith and Trey Bryson; great grandchildren,Seth, John, Eli, Jessie, Coper, Bella, Jace,Maggie Charlie and Sailor; former husband, Billy Alexander and special friend, Dan Spain.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 to 8pm. Flowers will be acknowledged, however it is requested that in place of flowers, to donate blood!
