Jimmy Cripps

Mr. Jimmy Cripps, age 66, of Gainesville passed away Monday, February 22, 2016.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Fletcher Law will officiate.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 29, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Cripps was born November 26, 1949 to the late James Oscar and Betty Eloise Cripps in Nashville, Tennessee.  He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and worked for Rush Trucking, where he was a Parts Salesman.  He was very proud of being a Vietnam Veteran, and of his children and grandchildren. 

Mr. Cripps is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Brenda Cripps of Gainesville; son & daughter-in-law, Lee& Dot Cripps of Gainesville; daughter, Cynthia Cripps of Gainesville; 9 grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Cripps of Gainesville; sister & brother-in-law, Brenda & David Faria of Sacramento, California; and 2 nephews.
