Frances Mozelle Palmer

Mrs. Frances Mozelle Palmer, age 88, of Nicholson, GA died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Northridge Medical Center.  Mrs. Palmer was born in Clayton, GA to the late Tom and Norma Clark.  She lived a full long life.  She had a deep love for the mountains, painting, and anything else that struck her fancy.  Mrs. Palmer enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her husband, James Rogers “Spud” Palmer, Sr.; and brothers, Jessie and Bill Clark.

Mrs. Palmer is survived by her son, James Palmer, Jr. of Nicholson; brother, Dayton Clark of Carrolton; granddaughter, Jamie Palmer Wise of Tifton; and great-grandsons, James, William, and John “J.R.” Wise.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, February 27 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ivester officiating.  Interment will follow in Nicholson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from noon to 2 PM.
