Harold Radd Cape

Harold Radd Cape, 77, of Gillsville, GA. passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Banks County, GA. on October 31, 1938 he was the son of the late William G. and Lillie Mae Sims Cape. Mr. Cape was retired from Mt. Vernon Mill here he was a Lab Tech. He was a member of Gillsville Baptist Church.

In addition to his patents, Mr. Cape is preceded in death by his son, Stanley Darrell Cape and brothers, David Cape and Coy Cape.

Mr. Cape is survived by his wife, Annette Poole Cape of Gillsville; son and daughter in law, Barry and Mona Cape of Gainesville; grandsons, Jeremy Cape, Brandon Cape and Amanda Clark, Spencer Cape, Caleb Cape and Gabby Hunsucker; sister, Jeanette Suggs of Anderson, SC; sister and brother in law, Vivian and Swayne Poole of Griffin; brothers and sisters in law, Charles and Lois Cape of Gillsville, Earl and Cindy Cape of Gillsville as well as a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Gillsville Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Calhoun and Rev. Shannon Rhodes will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Little& Davenport Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
