Troy James Gibbs

   Troy James Gibbs, age 60 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Bradley Elliott officiating. Mr. Gibbs cremains will be interred at a later date in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Gibbs was born June 30, 1955 in Gainesville, GA to the late James Cleveland Gibbs and Norma Glass Gibbs. He is the grandson of the late Rev. Henry Lee and Ruby Irene Glass and William and Ruby Gibbs. He was retired as an Auditor with Caterpillar and was a member of Unity Church of Gainesville.

            Mr. Gibbs is survived by his daughter, Ashleigh Morgan Gibbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
