Martha Davis

On Monday, February 22, 2016, Martha Davis went home to be with her Lord Jesus.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Malcom and Rev. Clack Stubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 5:30-8:00pm and Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 9:00am-10:30am prior to the service.

Mrs. Davis was born May 31, 1930 in Gillsville, Georgia to the late Emory Buffington and Linnie Buffington. She graduated from Tadmore School and was retired from banking.  Mrs. Davis was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Hammond B. Davis of Flowery Branch; daughter, Pamela Reeves of Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Mark Stubbs of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Christi Tasker (Boyd); Keri Carpenter (Lance) and Kyle Stubbs (Abby); 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Polly Coker of Gillsville and Jerrie Maney of Decatur.
