Glenn Devon Crowe, age 69, of Cumming, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Glenn loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and garage sales. He liked trivia and card games and was an avid West Virginia fan! As a youth, he earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Highly educated, he graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a Master’s degree in Computer Hardware Engineering and a PHD from West Virginia University. He went on to work in the Computer Health Care Information field for Cigna Health Care and Technicon DATA Systems. Glenn was a loving, dedicated father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Martha Crowe and his brother, Bob Crowe.
Glenn is survived by his children, Elizabeth and Jason Mitcham, Jeffery Thad and Kim Crowe, Ryan Crowe; grandchildren, Devon Crowe, Noah Crowe and Drew Mitcham; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Jane Crowe; sisters and brother-in-law, Patsy Nair, Janet and Ron Gauer, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Neal officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
