Johnny A. Webb

Mr. Johnny A. Webb, age 88 of 40 Lakeside Drive, Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Felton Manor Assisted Living in Cartersville, Georgia.

A son of the late John and Effie Harvey Webb, he was born December 2, 1927 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Blue Ridge, Georgia.  He was a welder having worked in a number of manufacturing companies.  He was a volunteer car host for the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church in Cherry Log, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Head Webb in 2013.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Tony and Karen Webb of Powder Springs, Georgia and Keith Webb of Ellijay, Georgia; two brothers and sister-in-law, Howard Webb of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Roland and Johnnie Webb of Brunswick, Georgia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tori and Russell Rudeseal of Richmond, Indiana and Evelyn and Doyle Price of Martinsville, Indiana; sister-in-law, Joyce and James Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Friday, February 19, 1 O’clock PM at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Dr. Paul Mimms officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 PM until 8 PM.

Interment will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Johnny A. Webb.
