Donald Spradlin Wise

Mr. Donald Spradlin Wise, 60, of Alpharetta, went home to be with his heavenly father Sunday, February 14, 2016.  Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Donald faithfully worked in the ministry since high school and served on staff at several area fellowships, most recently on staff at North Point Community Church in Strategic Partnering, planting churches throughout the U.S.  Donald had a passion for overseas missions as well, travelling to Romania numerous times over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Evelyn Wise of Atlanta.  Donald loved his family and felt it was God’s greatest blessing on his life, believing Joshua 24:15 “…as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Sandy, his wife of 39 years who served along side of him, and his three children as well as three “adopted by marriage,” Nathan & Georgie Wise (Chesney & Nate) of Canton, Rachel and Jody Spain (Avery & Kirby) of Gainesville, and Bekah and Jeremy Kirby of Canton all remain here, carrying on his legacy of serving Jesus.  Donald also has two loving sisters, Teresa Hughes of Gainesville and Katy Wise of Atlanta, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

In celebration of his life, a worship service will be held Friday, February 19 at 4:00 pm at North Point Community Church.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Global X, the foreign missions ministry of North Point Community Church.  www.goglobalx.org
