Mr. James Carroll Kesler, age 80 of 21 Pebble Creek Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his residence.
A son of the late James Nathan and Leo Gulley Kesler, he was born May 29, 1935 in Banks County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was employed with Central Machine Shop for a number of years and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Dwayne and Edward Kesler.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Rose Murray Kesler; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Warren Lewis of Winder, Georgia; grandson, Caleb Lewis; sister, Ovalene Hardman of Toccoa; sisters-in-law, Sarah Kesler and Virginia Kesler both of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 13, 2016, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jeryle Roach and The Reverend Rik Wise officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should assemble at the funeral home by 1:15 PM, David Fowler, James Maxwell, Denman McFarlin, Mark Kesler, Philip Murray and Richard Burton.
The family will be at the home on Pebble Creek Drive and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 6 PM until 8 PM.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Robert Rudeseal officiating. Acree-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. James Carroll Kesler.
