Grace McIntyre Pilgrim

Mrs. Grace McIntyre Pilgrim, age 75 of 197 Highview Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Arthur and Lessie Mae Brown McIntyre, she was born March 18, 1940 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was employed with Georgia Baptist Conference Center and Toccoa Nursing Center for a number of years and was a member of Welcome Faith Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Pilgrim and by a son, Wendell Pilgrim.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Vernon Pilgrim and Dale and Terry Pilgrim both of Toccoa; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Lee McIntyre of Toccoa and Junior McIntyre of Martin; four sisters, Agnes Marcus of Martin, Mildred Carter, Dorothy Smith and Doris Dodgins all of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 10, 2016, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Ray Bohannon officiating.

The family will be at the home on Highview Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 PM until 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Grace McIntyre Pilgrim.
