Anthony “Tony” David Reed

Mr. Anthony “Tony” David Reed, age 53, of Grand Chute, Wisconsin, formerly of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015.

Memorial Services will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Hopewell Baptist Church.  Dr. Kent Barrett will officiate.

Tony was the son of Anita Paulette Froelich and Ronald G. Reed.  He was a former resident of Gainesville, Georgia, as well as Peru, Indiana and Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  Tony was a gifted mechanic and loved to tinker and invent.  He had a passion for music and enjoyed creating instrumentals.  Tony serviced his country in the United States Army from 1980-1982 and was stationed in Germany for a stent of time.  After his public profession of faith, he was baptized by Rev. Larry Wynn of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Ronald G. Reed.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Heidi Diana & Daniel Moore of Hoschton; son & daughter-in-law, Dylan & Mandy Reed; mother & step-father, Anita Paulette & William E. Froelich of Buford; step-mother, Deborah Ann Reed of Flowery Branch; sisters, Melanie Reed Bagley and Cynthia Steele both of Oakwood; brothers & sisters-in-law, Ronald James & Holly Reed of Flowery Branch and Shane & Cindy Reed of Gainesville; brother, Marty Reed of Flowery Branch; 5 grandchildren; and a large number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew and cousins.
