David Etris

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. David Shane Etris, age 59 of Cleveland. Mr. Etris passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, February 12, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Fred Patton officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.

Mr. Etris was born in Hall County on November 16, 1956 to the late Albert Etris Jr. and Winifred Clark Etris. He was of the Baptist faith and lived in White County most of his life. Survivors include his life partner, Kitty Hollis, Cleveland; daughters, Kayla Meeks ( Brandon), Gainesville; sister, Teresa Hernandez (Carlos), Gainesville, Susan Jones, McCaysville and Irish Angela Frey of Duluth; brother, Robin Etris (Nancy) Gainesville; step father, Raymond Newell of Gainesville; grandchildren, Ava Meeks, Austin Clark, Jesse Angel, Alizia and Danny Hollis, Levi Simpson.
