Kim Douglas Allison, age 58, a longtime resident of Lumpkin County passed away February 5, 2016.
Kim was an Army veteran. He was a family man and really loved his grandchildren and dog.
Kim is preceded in death by his father, Claude Thompson Allison and brother, Melvin Allison.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Sue Allison, Dawsonville, GA; mother, Colleen Dixie Allison, Oakwood, GA; son, Timothy Allison, Dawsonville, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Christie and Jerry Robinson, Monroe, GA and Tammy Allison Hopper & Joseph Hopper, Alto, GA; brother, Keith Allison, Oakwood, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Randy Collins, Jefferson, GA; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Kim are scheduled for 4 PM Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.
Rev. Clint Sexton and Jason Whisnant will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery, Dahlonega, GA with military honors by the Veterans Alliance.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Sunday February 7, 2016 from 6 PM to 9 PM. And again on Monday from 2 PM until time of service.
