Tommie Agnes LeCroy McCollum

Mrs. Tommie Agnes LeCroy McCollum, age 72, of Collins Road, Toccoa, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Northridge Health and Rehab Center in Commerce, Ga. 
 
A daughter of the late Willie and Clara Brown LeCroy, she was born on July 30, 1943 in Franklin County, Ga., having lived for most of her life in Toccoa.  She was employed at Coats and Clark for a number of years and was a member at Highpoint Community Worship Center.  Family always came first for Mrs. McCollum.  She spent the majority of her time loving her family and caring for their needs. 
 
She is survived by a daughter, Virginia McCollum of Toccoa, two sons, John Morris McCollum and Michael McCollum both of Toccoa, six grandchildren, Deanna (Ryan) Tolbert, Tabitha York, Angel (Danny) Lee, Clara Palmer, and Andrew McCollum, all of Toccoa, and Kerri McCollum of Dahlonega, Ga., eleven great-grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Gwen LeCroy of Toccoa, and by a sister, Louise Collins of Toccoa.  She is also survived by her caregiver and good friend, Francesca Spearman of Toccoa, and by her dog, Sparky. He was a great companion and best friend, and also by a number of nieces and nephews. 
 
The family will have a private celebration of life service at a later date.  No other services have been scheduled at this time.
