Paul Thomas Lord

            Mr. Paul Thomas Lord, age 83, of Commerce died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Northridge Medical Center.  Mr. Lord was born in Commerce to the late, Tom Watson and Mattie Odessa Lord Lord.  Mr. Lord was a retired brick mason, member of the Hudson Lodge # 294 F&AM, 32^nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, the VFW, and was a Korean War Army Veteran.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Lord was also preceded in death by his wife, Mozelle Sarah Seay Lord.

            Mr. Lord is survived by his daughters, Debra Lord Evans (Toby) of Commerce, Lisa Lord Black of Flowery Branch, and Laura Lord Boswell (Steve) of Maysville; brother, Donald Lord of Maysville; sisters, Elizabeth Belk of Danielsville, Betty Burchett of Commerce, and Martha Hancock of Martinez; grandchildren, Brandi Dean, Dusty Black, Blakeley Whitmire, and Carter Boswell; great grandchildren, Sarah Wilkie, Sophie Dean, Tanner Dean, and Hudson Black.

            Funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Mitton officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 5-8 PM.  The family will be at the residence of Mr. Lord.
