Juanita Sumner Davis

Mrs. Juanita Sumner Davis, age 93, of Flowery Branch passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at Landmark Hospital in Athens, surrounded by family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Flowery Branch with interment following at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.  Bishop Bill Shaw will officiate.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the church.

Mrs. Davis was born June 26, 1922 to the late Lawrence & Maggie Sumner in Burgaw, North Carolina.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Flowery Branch.  Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jones Davis.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Lawrence & Diem Tran Davis of Flowery Branch and Paul Jones & Pat Davis of August; daughters, Raven Davis of Suwanee and Teena Lynn Davis of Demorest; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Sam Sumner of California; and several nieces & nephews.
