Larry Milton Ayers, age 58 of Commerce, GA passed away Monday Feb. 01, 2016.
Mr. Ayers was the son of the late Herman and Lois Turpin Ayers. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Turner, Mother-in-law, Gertrude Haynes, and was employed by Certainteed.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Alexander Ayers of the residence; a daughter, Yvette Crumley, Danielsville; a son, Tommy Ayers, Winder; 7 brothers, Leroy (Ann) Ayers, Baldwin, Luther (Linda) Ayers, Homer, Marvin (Lois) Ayers, Homer, Lamar (Lynn) Ayers, Homer, Harold Ayers, Ila, Ralph (Penny) Ayers, Carnesville, David (Charlene) Ayers, Commerce; 3 sisters, Betty Grizzle, Commerce, Evelyn (Paul) Blalock, Danielsville, Lucy (Waymon) Shore, Commerce; 7 grandchildren, Edward, Dalton, Levi, all of Danielsville, Erica, Rebekah, Emily Turner, all of Jefferson, Abigail Ayers, Winder; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Thursday Feb. 04, 2016 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel, Commerce with the Rev. Bo Whistnant and Levi Crumley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday Feb. 03, 2016 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
