Vera Mae Ward

           Ms. Vera Mae Ward, age 68 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at New Horizon Lanier Park following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 29, 2016 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Barry Merritt will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 5 - 8 pm and Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Ms. Ward was born January 5, 1948 in Jasper, Georgia to the late John Henry Ingram and Fronnie Pearl Grindle Ingram.  She was retired from US Department of Agriculture as an Inspector.

            Ms. Ward is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Wayne & Leticia Ward and Shane & Wanda Ward, all of Gainesville, grandchildren, Stephanie Ward, Lindsey Ward, Matthew Ward, Brittney Ward and Kristy Ward, great-grandchild, Jade Brew and sister, Mary Lou Day.
