Ophelia Bryant Bales, age 85 of Norcross, GA passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 Pm and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2016 at the funeral home. Ophelia was a lifetime member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Mrs. Bales was preceded in death by her husband, William Jeff Bales; parents, Herman & Minnie Bryant; son, Danny Bales; brother, Ed Clark; sister, Eufola Gilmer. She is survived by, daughters and son-in-law, Melica & Craig Bennett; Lawanna Bales; grandchildren, Grace and Lili Bennett; sister, Lounelle Bryant; nieces Juanita Miller and Laverne McDuffie, and many close friends and neighbors.
